3 schools on one site?

I don't know but this just doesn't sound like a great idea . in the coalfield this is the plan they want to go with. Now being from Norton if Burton does consolidate into the county I'm not going to show myself and make a big display. I don't want to lose my school just as much as anyone. That said I really don't like the 3 schools at one loacation plan. Plus if Norton does go that route I will not be very happy with that decision because just look at what the city put into the football stadium just a couple years ago and all the private money that went into the new sports complex. all that money could have been used for other needs if Norton even entertained the ideal of going into the county school system.

This might absolutely be the dumbest idea yet. 3 schools, 1 site, ONE auditorium, ONE cafeteria. If this goes through, ill be driving to Norton every Friday during football season just to watch all the fights break out during lunch.

Don't see what's wrong with it. It'll save millions on land purchase and make it easier for the schools to share specialized teachers (like Trig, French) if needed to.

Imagine the sporting facilities we can have with this. If the school board simply give some money to renovate the nice football fields in the county and also baseball fields we could have some REAL nice fields, probably the nicest this side of roanoke.

I hope you are joking. Three schools on one location is the dumbest idea I have ever heard of. If they are going to send all students to one location then just make one school and become AAA in sports. There is no good reason to put three schools on one location and make them all share one cafeteria. If Wise cant afford it then leave things the way they are until they can afford to build the schools. Dont half ass it.

there is no way we can move up to AAA. the travel time in AA would kill us. they are being smart trying to keep the schools single A. that may be the smartest thing they have done so far but for 3 A schools in one location?????????
